Existing shareholders, Enterprise Equity Northern Ireland, the Western Development Commission and angel investor Art McGann also participated in the funding round.

Kelsius supplies technology based automation systems for food and drug safety and regulatory compliance to the food services industry and the healthcare [hospital] sector.

Current paper-based systems require repetitive manual monitoring and record keeping. CoolCheck temperature monitoring automates these tasks. Because the system utilizes systematic and preventative regimes it means that regulatory processes are fully followed. All data is stored electronically. Alerts of non-conformance are generated automatically by the system and sent as text messages to supervisors / managers. Ultimately, this results in a more efficient and cost-effective process with significant labour savings. CoolCheck offers real-time visibility of compliance and non-conformance's across Hospitals, Laboratories and Clinics in Ireland and the UK.
